Please Read This Before You Join Our Fitness, Exercise, Strength and Yoga Classes

Our classes are not suitable:

  • In pregnancy
  • If you had a baby less than 8 weeks ago
  • If you had any recent surgery*Prolapse
  • If you have a slipped disc

Many women will have somewhere on their body that is achy, tight or doesn’t move well. During the class we will ensure that you are able to choose an alternative movement if you need to.

Please inform the instructor at the START of any injury or issue so we can best support you during the class. Always listen to your body and should you feel any pain going into or during or coming out of a pose, or movement, please stop.

During the perimenopause and beyond, many women notice that their pelvic floor control is not as good as it used to be. If you have been diagnosed with a prolapse PLEASE email support@harleystreetathome.com and we will ask the instructor about the suitability of the class. All classes will be available on catch up so you won’t miss out!

Some fitness classes will be suitable for beginners, others suit those who have exercised more recently or frequently. If you are unsure about the class you have joined, please ask the instructor and she will advise you.

Equipment that MAY be needed:

  • A yoga mat or carpet
  • Hand weights, tin cans or water bottles
  • Dynabands or fitness bands or a pair of tights or old towel
  • Small pilates ball or cushion
